Great alternative: CPH

Excellent connections from all over the world. The train journey is scenic and comfortable.

Tip

Check flights to CPH or OSL if prices to GOT are high. The train journey is an experience in itself.

Alternative accommodation

BachaBnB

Not everyone can or wants to stay at the official hotel, and that's completely fine. The bachata and kizomba community is incredibly welcoming, and many attendees offer their homes or spare rooms to fellow dancers through BachaBnB, the dance community's own accommodation network.

What is BachaBnB?

BachaBnB is a platform where dancers offer accommodation to other members of the community. It's more than just a place to stay — it's an opportunity to connect with local dancers, get insider tips about the city, and sometimes even enjoy impromptu practice sessions at home.

  • More affordable prices than traditional hotels
  • Authentic experience with the local community
  • Hosts who understand the festival schedule
  • Flexible check-in and check-out options
  • Often located near public transport
